In 2018 I founded Lark & Berry in London — the first designer fine jewellery brand built entirely on lab-grown stones. At the time, lab-grown diamonds were treated as a compromise; we treated them as the point. The industry followed. Lark & Berry helped shift lab-grown from an alternative into a category the biggest houses now compete in. London Business School still teaches the case study.
Wafel AI is what I wished existed through every year of running small businesses: an AI that actually runs the business — not a chatbot bolted onto one. It's built from the perspective of a real small-business owner, because that's what I've been since 2013. Launching September 2026.
